6mm PPC

Does anyone own, or at least knows someone that owns a 6mm PPC rifle?

Unlikely. I'd ask at https://elaboracja.pl, but I don't think that anyone uses is, as there may be problem with components such as cases to reload the cartridges, and probably there is no factory ammo to be found. So with the popularity of other 6 mm cartridges I don't believe there is anyone shooting 6mm PPC on regular basis. Maybe someone own something in this caliber.

I am only having problems with finding proper 68gr FB bullets. The rest of the components are accessible. Yes, it is a bit of work to get it right, but many people are handloading, and to do one or two extra steps to have such accuracy is a fair trade in my opinion.

I quickly noticed that the majority of competitions in Poland are shot within 300m, and the records from the past 50years with 6PPC speaks for itself.. so I am still puzzled why it is not in use.

I am South African, and this cartridge is also widely used in hunting with great success.

Anyway... I will carry on my lonely road, and hopefully I can bring home a few gold medals in the future. I only received my permission a couple of months ago, so I am preparing for 2026.. Its a matter of dies, and presses, and trimmers and cutters...and then fireforming.... but I will get there eventually.
