Jak już mantykujemy i gdybamy, to ja żałuję, że do Grota nie można zamontować lufy krótszej niż 10 cali. No może 9 styknie, chodzi mi o przedział długości.

Na razie pewnie nie, ale zrobienie konwersji 300BLK to w sumie tylko lufa...

Na razie pewnie nie, ale zrobienie konwersji 300BLK to w sumie tylko lufa...

Tak wiem i dlatego sie dziwie czemu jeszcze tego nie zrobili duzo moze tego nie pojdzie ale na poziomie 7.62x39 pewnie tak bo bylaby to mega tania alternatywa dla sigow ratlerow itd

first, the handguard had some lateral play. Quicly sloved in a vise to shape the aluminium and make it a bit less wide so that it has no more olay with the upper body.

Now the biggest issue and my concern was, imediatelly upon opening the preservative plastic bag, we could see rust forming in some place on the rifle...
Together with the armorer, we cleaned it, specifically the chamber opening, and I wanted to give the rifle a good barrel cleaning also before the rifle goes to the CIP proof bank authority before it is authorised for sale...
But I found it strange that a rifle coming out of the bag was already showing signs....
Since then, I scrubbed and cleaned as good as I could, the different parts were rust was noticed but still the oily rag comes red brown at times...
I ll see in time how it plays out but I m surprised of this issue in a 2022 rifle.... (I read the posts here and have to go back to around page 60 to find infos about it so I tought those issues were for a precious batch...)

I also own a 2019 Beryl that shows zero sign of rust either... I wonder why they would have change anyrhing in their matalurgic processing...

Small handguard lateral play in GROT is normal and quite common.

As for the problem of rusting, it was indeed reported by the soldiers of the Polish territorial defense forces who were testing this rifle. However, it is worth mentioning it concerned weapons used in considerably harsher conditions than civilians. However, rust marks on a brand new rifle are indeed somewhat disturbing and could potentially be the cause of a complaint.

On the other hand, if the rifle shoots well, then you simply need to pay a little more attention to its maintenance.... and treat the subject of rust as a minor aesthetic flaw.

From what I've heard, it's not rust, it's the effect of the finishing technology used.
I'll ask at the factory if I'm wrong.
