Re: Karabin klasa historyczna.

No i na koniec co z Enfieldami (No. 1 i No.4).

Ale to trudny karabin i trzeba go lubić.

A, i odpadają wszystkie problemy z zakwalifikowaniem przyrządów celowniczych. Można zarówno w "wojskowym", jak i w "openie".

Re: Karabin klasa historyczna.
I zawsze będzie to jego wina.piotrjub pisze:W jaki sposób trzeba okazywać - trzeba go lubić - aby wyniki były lepsze?

I dopiero wtedy były dokładane do m41.

Re: Karabin klasa historyczna.
Here is another beautiful Rifle m/1896, made by Husqvarna Vapenfabriks AB (HVA) as late as 1943
Note there is no muzzle thread and an original very different rear sight

Re: Karabin klasa historyczna.
"Sniper Rifle Rear Sights
The m/41 sniper rifle retained the m/96 rifle rear sight leaf, although some of these were later
removed for various reasons. The m/41 telescopic sights were calibrated for use with the
m/94/41 cartridge which used the 139 grain spitzer bullet (Torpedam).
By 1955, it was decided that the sniper rifles should have a new nonoptical rear sight which
did not require the shooter to estimate the amount of hold over or under. The "Precisionssikte
SM m/55" was installed in the rear sight base and held in place with the sight leaf pin, see
Figure 2-81. It was calibrated from 100 to 600 meters for the m/ 94/41 cartridge. The sight
consisted on a replacement leaf with a thumbwheel adjusting screw that bore on the rear sight
spring. The leaf was marked "SM/sikte/m55" at the top and with three stylized crowns at the
aperture end. The thumbwheel was marked " I", "2" , "3", "4", "5", and "6".
Note: A number of different rear sight have been observed, some of which were clearly not
military in origin. One rear sight leaf in the one of the author's collections is marked
"SM/Sikte/F-ram" indicating that it was experimental. It was similar to the m/55 rear sight
except that it was graduated to 800 meters. Markings were from 1 through 7 with 50 meter
increments indicated by a bar and 25 meter increments by a dot.

Re: Karabin klasa historyczna.
In "Crown Jewels" is mentioned the book "Skjutskicklighet och Skjutteknik" (Shootingskills and shootingtechnique) by Thure Holmberg and Björn Zachrisson (both very important at the time. Thure was the man behind fm/23 and much more. Björn for many years BIG at Norma and highly involved in FSR). The 1944 edition tells about different rearsights for rifle m/38 and Husqvarna m/96. Beware! 1952 edition of same book nothing of this!!
I will try to give you important info from this 1944 book.
"20000 FSR m/96 under production at Husqvarna. 5000-8000 will get leaf rear sight m/43. The rest (12000) will have AGJ-sights.
About rifle m/38:
a) converted from m/96 will have SM-sights graded for 250-600 meters intended for "ogival"-ammunition.
b) new-made m/38 with leaf rear sight graded for 100-600 meters intended for "ogival"-ammunition.
c) new-made m/38 with leaf rear sight graded for 150-600 meters intended for torpedo-ammunition.
Purpose to (in future) reduce the version to two as follow:
a) converted m/96 with the AGJ-sight for torpedo-ammunition.
b) new-made m/38 according to above c) (leaf rear sight graded for 150-600 meters intended for torpedo-ammunition).
This can be achieved in the way that rifles with sights for ogival-ammunition will get new leaf rear sights for torpedo-ammunition. As with the m/96 rifles are the m/38 rifles during transitory period furnished with a sticker on the butt holding a table (explained in the book. The usual version from ogival to torpedo and other way around). According to army-rifles will probably in the end following be achieved:
rifle m/96- AGJ-sights.
rifle m/38- AGJ-sights or leaf rear sights marked T."
Well.....this is my humble and hopefully as accurate as possible translation. Please Anders. Check this out from same book and adjuste if I might included important errors.
As you may see was the outcoming not as the above planned. In my military spare-part catalogue from 1963 exist only the "1938-39" SM-sight for the rifle m/38 and for rifle m/96 only a leaf rear sight.
